Some ducks are that way too.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing.
LindaLinda LaRoquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16672522522233696282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4456337395840098707.post-54745900427361636532009-04-18T00:27:00.000-05:002009-04-18T00:27:00.000-05:00Oh, what a nice story. We opened our front door and looked down the hall of the apartment building. It was on fire. I told my cat with kitten story on your Skizzle post! Growing up on the farm we had lots of animals and we wanted to do that for our kids too. So when our son was 1-8 and our daughter birth to 7 we lived on "Almost a Ranch". A 2.5 acre parcel where DH built a barn and we had a goat, pigs, chickens, a peacock who danced for the chickens, 2 horses and an African goose named Floppers. Floppers got his name cause when he was little he flopped over alot! We loved Floppers but had to be careful of cause he would attack anyone (like the pizza delivery guy) coming on the property. And if he thought the kids were chasing him he would attack them and we had to watch out for him. Those wings could really beat against adult legs or knock over a small child!Martha Eskuchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14403539348594584733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4456337395840098707.post-16227046484036084952009-04-13T12:10:00.000-05:002009-04-13T12:10:00.000-05:00What a sweet story, Linda. One cat was Siamese, very intelligent, and was a hunter of the first order. Man, could he stalk and catch his prey! The other cat was a neutered Russian Blue, which are big anyway, but he grew to mammoth proportions. He was also, how shall I say?...mentally challenged. When he stalked a bird, he'd spot it, and lumber toward the bird--galump, galump, galump. The bird would keep pecking away, knowing he had plenty of time to fly off. Poor cat never caught a bird in his entire life.
