Of course, I believe this is all part of global warming and that we're going to see more of this odd weather. I would love to have to put on a sweater. I've been researching trips to the UK. If we can swing it, I think it'd be best to visit at this time of year. We could have a good time and beat the heat.

Thanks for stopping by!Linda LaRoquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16672522522233696282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4456337395840098707.post-26486984031554499982011-08-23T06:25:04.445-05:002011-08-23T06:25:04.445-05:00Interesting post,Linda. Personally I don't like it too hot but at the moment, in the middle of August, I'm sitting here wondering whether to put on a sweater as I'm quite chilly. It's probably in the 50s low 60's, grey and miserable looking. The spring started off really warm an sunny and we thought 'oh good,we're going to have a summer,' but then it turned cool and wet. It's been a strange year, the odd days when it's been warm enough to eat out or have a barbeque, but at the moment it's more like March or April than August. I know I should't complain when over in the US you're suffering from heat and drought, but it would be nice to have a month or so of proper summer weather!Hywela Lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13789711554354184386noreply@blogger.com
