New Release Celebration - Two Contests - Win Pendant and/or Broach

In honor of my two May releases, I'm having two contests. Here are the prizes and instructions on how to win.

For Investment of the Heart from Champagne Books, I'm giving away a Yellow Rose of Texas Broach. It's 2 inches by 1 inch wide, has round Champagne and Marquise cut green cubic zirconia. The finish is 14K white gold electroplate.

To win this lovely pin, go to my website, read the blurb and excerpt and learn where in Texas this story takes place. Email your answer to linda@lindalaroque.com with Investment contest in the subject line. Failure to follow the rules will result in disqualification. A winner will be drawn from all entries on June 1, 2009.

For My Heart Will Find Yours from The Wild Rose Press, I'm giving away a genuine turquoise pendant set in sterling silver. This is the pendant shown in the book trailer without the chain. It measures 1 1/4 long not including the bezel and 7/8 inches wide. The stone is not flat and has a nice gently twist to it.

To win the pendant, go to my website, read the blurb and excerpt and learn what year and location Texanna travels back in time to. Email your answer to linda@lindalaroque.com with My Heart Will Find Yours in the subject line. Failure to follow the rules will result in disqualification. A winner will be drawn from all entries on June 1, 2009.

While at my website, view my book trailers and check out the books I have coming out later this year.
Feel free to enter both drawings and don't forget I'm giving away an ebook a book to an individual whose name is drawn from the comments.
Thanks and Happy Reading!

  1. Linda,

It's nice you write in two subgenres. I also like many time periods and love paranormals as well as traditional romances or mysteries. My time travel works the other way--the heroine comes forward from 1845 Ireland to today. Aren't they fun to write?

  2. Hi Caroline,
Thanks for stopping by. Your time travel sounds interesting. Seems I read an excerpt for it yesterday. Who is your publisher?

  5. Hi Judy,
I loved writing both stories. It would be hard to decide which I liked best.
I lucked into both pieces on ebay. I'm an ebay hound and shop there often.
    Thanks for entering the contest.

  7. Linda,

I haven't ordered 'Investment' yet. Will do so this week. I have so enjoyed reading all your books. They all were good reads. I still feel that your first one, Ocotillo needed a new release and so glad it is coming. I also liked Forever Faithful, but MHWFY is my favorite, and cannot wait for the next installment of the series. Will be posting reviews this week.

    BTW, the pendant is beautiful.

I read alot of other genres too, but there's always something special about reading the Western ones!
